Beauty School

Whew, its been a whirlwind couple of weeks.  Let's backtrack to November 12th when me and 10 of my team members headed to Salt Lake City for the Young Living Beauty School.

On the plane with Cassidy and Shan

We got this awesome kit with lots of goodies inside.

Beth, Kim, Beth, Cassidy, Shan, Susan, Me, and Jennifer.

Good looking ladies trying out all the beauty products

Young Living gave us a brand new prototype to try out.....a personal face diffuser.

We take things very seriously.

We had a chance to make some fun items to take home.

Excited to try this lip scrub.

With the whole bunch.

Had a chance to get a picture with Gary Young.

So true!

Tried to get home on Sunday, Nov 15 but my flight kept getting delayed.  I was anxious to get home to see my boys.....because the next day I headed out for another adventure.

Windows and Walls

One positive to this whole house re-do is that its forced me to update some things.  I have had the same curtains in my living room for about 14 years so it was definitely time for an update.  We have this huge wall of windows.....which makes it tricky as far as drapes go.  Here is my fabric (draped over my couch)

Blank canvas

We laid the board out so that we could measure

My little helpers- my mom and Jason's mom.  Okay, who am I kidding?  They did the whole thing :)

I think they turned out pretty good.

Shawn and I celebrated 3 years on Tuesday. I have felt bad this week so there was no celebrating but he did bring me some pretty flowers.

I got a frame for our well picture......that we now keep by our kitchen sink.

This wall had one large painting on it......and I was ready for a change here too.

I decided to try a gallery wall.  These two are so funny!  Both of them think they know everything so watching them was quite entertaining.

Not completely finished but I think it turned out great so far.  I need something under the large sign and then I think its done.

Happy Halloween

I've said it before but Halloween just isn't as fun when your kids start picking out their own costumes.
Really?  I have no words.

A zombie and a phantom.

Cooper still wasn't a 100% so we didn't go to as many houses this year.  Which is fine with me.  The less candy in our house, the better.

I loved listening to them say "thank you" and "have a good night."

The neighbor kind of freaked them out.  And this guy made them come right up to him in order to get candy.  They did it but they were definitely hesitant.

Every year, we dump both bags into the middle of the table.  And then we all pig out.  But since Cooper was still not great, he picked 2 pieces and we put it up.

That night, we got home and Cooper had put his mask over my diffuser......which was funny because the mist was coming out of its eye.  Silly boy!
