Young Living Convention and Farm Day

Last week, we flew to Utah to attend the Young Living convention.  On Wednesday, we headed to Mona to visit the lavender farm there.  As always, it was a highlight of our trip.

It was hot as blazes.  Staying hydrated.

They had a product tent set up so we could purchase products if needed.

So pretty!

The grounds of the farm are so beautiful.

Staying cool with peppermint ice cream, lavender lemonade, and Ningxia Red snow cones.

Yum!

Where else can you act like kids while jumping in the lavender fields?  So fun.

We got to experience first hand the Seed to Seal process that YL is known for.

Taking a small yarrow plant and putting it into the ground.

What other essential oil company owns farms and then actually lets you come and see it?  None.

Its so neat tho think that in a couple of years, this plant will be big enough to harvest and distill.

After the farm, we took a tour of the warehouse.

Downtown Salt Lake City was taken over by Young Living distributors.

At convention with our team.  We were so blessed to have many join us this week.

With my sweet Sandi.  But I can't help but crack up at the photobomber behind us!

Getting some Ningxia shots and slushies and Zyng for extra energy to keep us going.

On Thursday night, we were invited to attend the Diamond awards night with our upline.

Mario Lopez was the MC.

Smelling peppermint.  Ahhhh.......

With my upline, April.

Thanks for a great night!

We don't get dressed up often so it was fun to get fancy and enjoy a night out.

Back at it the next day.  Love all these ladies!

With my sister-in-law.  Oils are a family affair!

I loved getting to run into friends we have met over the last couple of years.   I met this sweet friend at the Platinum retreat in Ecuador last year.  So precious!

Wrapping up a wonderful convention with a concert from Lady Antebellum.  It was awesome!

Hillary Scott uses oils too!

Loved hanging with this guy.  Our song is "Just a Kiss" by Lady Antebellum so it was sweet to hear it at the concert together.

Such a fun night.  Already excited about next year!

Summer Camp

If you can't already tell, we are pretty big movie people.  So we went to our 2nd movie so far for the summer......Warcraft.  This is obviously not the choice I would have made if I had been alone but my boys were excited to see it.  And I love spending time with my boys......so that's how we roll.

On Sunday, we took the boys to camp at ACU (where I went to college)  Getting them all settled in their dorms.

Waiting on cousins.

Shawn's sister has 2 boys the same ages and they decided to come too!  Cooper is rooming with Tanner......

.....and Hudson is rooming with Kyler.

And yes, my kid is a giant.  He is only 4 months older than Kyler but look how much taller!?!?!  And Kyler is not a short kid.  Hudson is very self conscience of this.  I tell him that boys WANT to be tall but he doesn't like it right now.

Crazy Uncle Steve getting in a final picture before heading out.  Such a big kid himself!

While the last couple of days have been nice and quiet.....it's bee a little TOO quiet. I always shut their bedroom doors.  I hate seeing an empty room.  Praying they are having the time of their lives.

Steel City Pops and FW

So last weekend, this guy wasn't feeling great.  Thanks to LOTS of essential oils, water, elderberry syrup, rest and sunshine.....he was better in 2 days.

I was so thankful to finally see him laughing and smiling with brother.

I've been hearing about Steel City Pops for some time now but we just haven't had a chance to make a trip.  Middle of last week, we made it a day and went to Fort Worth to hang out.

The pops are made on-sight and don't have all the yucky stuff in them.  Cooper and I got the Buttermilk.....YUM......and Shawn and Hudson got chocolate.

We will def be back!

Next, we went to the Botanical Gardens.....actually the Japanese Gardens.  It's so pretty there.

The boys loved feeding and watching all the fish.

Love these guys.

Crazy fish!!!!  They get fed so often that they just know to hang around with their mouths open.

We got to see lots of lizards and squirrels too.

Fun day with my family!
