My new guy and Thanksgiving Feasts

wow, I've been a big blog slacker lately. I've got good reasons though. This time of year is just crazy for everyone. Also, I've had a new man spending some time around here and he's really taken up more of my time then I thought. Meet my new boyfriend:

I think it's getting serious.

Both boys have now had their Thanksgiving Feasts at school. Cooper had his last Thursday since he is off this week from school. I didn't go (they really didn't open it up to parents) but he did bring some cute things home. Here he is in his little Indian vest (aka: pillowcase)

Hudson had his feast yesterday so Aunt Pearl and I went to see him. They started off in the cafeteria and did a little routine with Lemmie sticks. Then we went back to his room so that the kids could eat. Here is Hudson and his student teacher, Mrs. J. I haven't blogged about Mrs. J yet but I do want to point out that this is Hudson's first official crush. He came home a few weeks ago talking about Mrs. J and about how she was his favorite and about how pretty she was. He got really shy when talking about her and I knew he had fallen BIG TIME. My suspicions were confirmed when his teacher, Mrs. P, emailed me and at the bottom of her email said something like, "oh by the way......I think Hudson has a crush on my student teacher, Mrs. J, because he always makes excuses to go and talk to her or sit by her." Bless his heart. At least he has good taste. She's a cutie! He's going to be crushed when she leaves next week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

1 Box + 1 Boy = Hours of Fun!

We've got a new roller coaster around here. But before you go and think we hit the lottery and purchased Neverland, take a look at our pics.
These boys have had so much fun playing with this. The good part is that is comes apart really easy and you can use it outside or inside.
Although Hudson likes the coaster, I think his favorite part is the little clubhouse we made using the box that is came in.
The cool part is that it can also serve as a track for Cooper's cars.
Ready, Set, Go.....

On Friday night, Hudson and I went to Casa to see The Stinky Cheese Man. Our friends Kerri and Cameron came along too. We had a good time!

Fridays Favorites

1. Cuisinart Bread Maker- This breadmaker makes some delicious breads! There isn't a better smell out there than fresh bread baking in your kitchen. Yum!
2. My little engineer in the making- Hudson created this "plug robot" from various plugs and switches he had laying around the house. This boy is so smart and so creative. I can't wait to see what he becomes one day. Love this kid!!

3. Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone- this deodorant rocks.....literally. Several months ago while doing some research on more natural living, I came across some information about deodorant and some health issues that could result from long-term exposure to aluminum. Although these studies are not conclusive, I decided I wanted something more natural. I've been using the Thai crystal stone and LOVE it! I'm not a big sweater but I can tell you that this deodorant keeps me really dry, even when I work out. It's made from natural mineral salts and contains no aluminum chlorhydrate.
Think what you want........I'm know I'm a weirdo!

4. Privileged- comes on Tuesday nights after 90210. It's super cute and is my new favorite show!

Do you have any new favorites?
